Most Power BI problems are not chart problems. They are model problems. Measures that disagree with each other, relationships wired the wrong way, one flat table doing the work of six, and a refresh nobody trusts.
I build the layer underneath properly, then put the dashboard and the reports on top of it. A clean star schema, DAX measures that give the same answer everywhere, and a scheduled refresh that runs on its own.
Thirteen years in data. Five of them running the reporting layer for a 22-site operations group, where I designed and built the governed data platform that business still reports on. Most of the dashboards it runs on are mine.

I built their reporting layer in Power BI, implemented their first enterprise CRM, then wrote the application that replaced it and is now their system of record. FAQ
My data is messy. Is that a problem?
No, it is normal. Cleaning and shaping the data is part of every package. Send it as it is. If it needs more work than the package covers, I will tell you before you order rather than after.
Do I need a Power BI licence?
Power BI Desktop is free and I can deliver a .pbix file that opens in it. You only need a Pro licence if you want to publish to the Power BI service, share with colleagues or schedule automatic refresh.
Can you fix a report someone else built?
Yes, and it is often the better value. Send the pbix file and I will tell you whether it needs repairing or rebuilding. Sometimes the model is sound and only the measures are wrong, which is a much smaller job.
