I will create a manufacturing prototype with cad modeling mechanical design dfm and dfa

About this gig
Are you developing a mechanical product and need professional CAD modeling, a manufacturing prototype, and DFM/DFA analysis?
This full design process requires more than 3D modeling. It demands:
- precise CAD modeling and assembly design
- DFM and DFA analysis for production
- manufacturing-ready tolerancing
- GD&T annotation where required
- prototype documentation structure
- Bill of Materials (BOM) creation
- engineering clarity from concept to prototype
I specialize in end-to-end mechanical design from concept CAD modeling to manufacturing-ready prototypes using SolidWorks and industry standards.
This gig is perfect if you're searching for:
- manufacturing prototype
- SolidWorks CAD modeling
- mechanical design
- DFM DFA production-ready files
- engineering prototype
WHAT I CAN DESIGN
- CAD Modeling & Prototyping
- 3D part and assembly models
- concept-to-prototype development
- exploded views and drawings
- DFM/DFA Analysis
- design for manufacturing review
- design for assembly optimization
- tolerance and material guidance
- Engineering Documentation
- technical 2D drawings
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- production file packages

FAQ
What do I need to provide to get started?
Share your product concept, sketches, reference images, approximate dimensions, and intended manufacturing process (CNC, 3D printing, injection molding, sheet metal, etc.). The more detail you provide, the faster we move through the design process.
What file formats will I receive?
You will receive SolidWorks native files (SLDPRT, SLDASM), universal exchange formats (STEP, IGES), manufacturing files (STL, DWG, DXF), and all documentation exported as PDF.
Can you work from just a sketch or rough idea?
Yes. I work from hand sketches, reference photos, rough dimensions, or a written brief. We can start from concept and develop the design through to a manufacturing-ready prototype together.
What does DFM/DFA analysis include?
DFM (Design for Manufacturing) covers process-specific design optimization, tolerancing, and material recommendations. DFA (Design for Assembly) covers part reduction, assembly sequence, fastener/joint simplification, and handling recommendations to reduce assembly time and cost.
Do you sign NDAs or keep projects confidential?
Yes. I respect client intellectual property and can sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before the project begins. All designs and documents remain strictly confidential.
