WHO'S BUILDING IT
I've owned four restaurants, a coffee shop, a food truck and a bakery. Built them up, sold them. So I've been the one at six in the morning finding out the software didn't do what it promised and I know the real cost isn't the licence, it's the hour a day somebody spends working around it.
Writing software since 2005. Master's in mathematics.
HOW IT WORKS
Built phone-first, because that's where your staff and your customers already are. It installs like an app, keeps working with no signal, and you get the source code so you're never stuck with me.
MY RULE
If your people can't work it out in ten seconds, it isn't finished. That's usually harder than the clever version, and it's the only kind of work I want to do.

So when I build you a quote form, a loyalty card or a closing checklist, I've been the person who had to use it at six in the morning. I know what bad software really costs — not the license, the hour a day somebody spends working around it.

I'm not sure what I need. Can you tell me if this is even worth doing?
Yes, and I'll tell you if it isn't. Describe the annoying part of your day and I'll say whether software fixes it or whether you'd be paying me to automate a problem you could just stop doing.
Do my staff have to download something from the app store?
No. They open a link and their phone offers to add it to the home screen. No store, no accounts to set up, nothing to approve.
What happens if my internet goes down?
It keeps working. These are built to run with no signal and catch up when the connection comes back, because a checklist that stops working during a rush is worse than a piece of paper.
Do I own it, or am I renting it from you?
You own it. Source code comes with every package. If you never speak to me again it carries on working.
Can you change it later?
Yes, and small changes are usually quick. But you're not trapped — you have the code, so any developer can pick it up.
