FAQ
What formats do you use for audio?
I can handle most standard audio files like .mp3, .wav, etc. There is a problem with files specific to Mac, like Garageband files. Please export all audio to wav or mp3 before submission, and everything will be easy to work with.
What if a file is too large to submit via Fiverr?
You can upload your file to Dropbox or Google Drive (both have free versions) and then you create and share the link to me in the order window. It is not necessary to have any contact info from me to do this. Just paste the shared link and I can grab your file.
Can you remove background hissing?
Mostly, yes. Because all audio is different, and recorded using different gear, it can vary greatly. There are times when really loud background hissing or echo in a room will make noise reduction impossible, and the audio will sound worse.
Do you offer custom orders?
Absolutely! Send me a message and let me know your specific needs.
Why weren't ALL 'umms' removed?
Not all "ums" are the same. Some are attached to other words which makes removing them sound unnatural and choppy. "Ums" that are stand-alone and not attached to other words will be removed.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, I do offer discounts for batch orders and long term clients!
Can you improve the quality of audio?
Yes! However, there are some limitations as to what can be done, so please make sure to contact me for a quick assessment before ordering.
Can you send a snippet of edited/mastered audio before i order your gig?
Yes. But i will only do that in trust that you will wait patiently till i am through with editing or mastering the audio file.
Can you improve my audio?
I can almost always "improve" audio, but the #1 secret to a great sounding podcast is to get a quality recording from the start. I cannot turn a poor-sounding phone call recording into studio-quality. If you're uncertain, please message for a quick assessment before ordering!
