Chrome Extensions are usually developed to optimize and/or automate a repetitive and laborious process.

To estimate feasibility and evaluate success, your basic formula is:

Value = Time Saved (hours) x Hourly Labor Rate x Number of Workdays x Number of Users

I use 3 step process:

1. Evaluate value proposition - We will discuss the problem you are looking to solve and the benefit you are anticipating as a result. It is a critical step. I offer this as I consider it a luxury and a blessing that I wished I had when implementing my personal projects.
2. Improve solution where possible to amplify value - Not always but there can be good ideas worth considering.
3. Implement and Deliver - We'll stay in touch as necessary throughout the engagement for clarity, demos and feedback.
