What is MCP and why do I need it?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is Anthropic's open standard for connecting AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf to external data and tools. If you have an API or database, an MCP server lets AI use it natively, no custom integration code per AI tool. One server works with every AI client.
What languages do you build MCP servers in?
Python (using the official mcp SDK) or TypeScript (using @modelcontextprotocol/sdk). Default is Python for AI and data work, TypeScript for web-stack APIs. Happy to match whichever your team prefers.
Will my source code be mine?
Yes, 100 percent. Source goes to your GitHub repo or zipped if you prefer. I retain no rights to your business logic. Standard reusable helpers like auth handlers and JSON Schema utilities may appear across my projects, which is normal industry practice.
Where will it be deployed?
Your choice. Default for HTTP transport is Vercel (free tier handles most cases). For long-running connections, Railway. Can also deploy to Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda, or your own infrastructure if you provide access.
What if my API isn't documented?
No problem. Send Postman collections, curl examples, or even sandbox login access. I'll reverse-engineer the endpoints and produce OpenAPI docs as a deliverable bonus on Standard and Premium tiers.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, always. Send your NDA before kickoff and I'll sign within an hour.
What happens if the MCP server does not work after delivery?
Every delivery includes a working demo tested against your use case. If something breaks during the revision window, I fix it free. The Premium tier includes 30-day support; the Extended Support 90-day extra extends this for ongoing fixes.
