I will build an interactive dashboard in metabase, power bi, excel

About this gig
A dashboard is only useful if the people reading it trust the numbers. That is the part most dashboards get wrong.
I build dashboards in Metabase, Power BI and Looker Studio on top of SQL that is written once and reused not a pile of one-off charts that quietly disagree with each other by the end of the quarter.
What you get:
- A working dashboard built on your real data
- Filters that match how you will actually use it
- Every metric defined in writing: what is counted, what is excluded
- The SQL behind it, so you are never locked to me
I work daily with product and subscription data MRR, churn, retention, activation, onboarding funnels as an in-house analyst for a US company, from Germany.
Before building anything I will ask what decision the dashboard is meant to support. It usually changes the design, and now and then it turns out you need three numbers rather than thirty.
Not sure which metrics you need? Tell me the questions you ask yourself every week and I will propose a set.

FAQ
Which tool should I choose?
Metabase if you want something free and quick for a team, Power BI if you are on Microsoft, Looker Studio if your data lives in Google. Describe your setup and I will recommend one before you order.
Can you connect directly to my database?
Yes — Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery and Google Sheets. Read-only access is enough. If you would rather not share access, a CSV export works fine.
What if I do not know which metrics I need?
That is normal and not a problem. Tell me what decisions you are trying to make, I will propose a set of metrics, and we agree on them before I build anything.
Will I be able to change it myself later?
Yes. You get the SQL behind every chart and a short walkthrough, so your team can edit and extend the dashboard without me.
