Will you rewrite or change my writing during proofreading?
No. Proofreading is the final quality-control stage, not a rewrite. I correct errors while preserving your voice, style, dialogue, dialect, and intentional creative choices. If I notice something that may require an author's judgment, I can flag it for your review.
What do I need to provide before you begin?
Please provide your final, edited manuscript, along with your total word count and preferred English convention (such as American or British English). Please also let me know about intentional stylistic choices, invented terminology, unusual capitalization, or other conventions I should preserve.
