A developmental edit focuses on your story as a whole, honing in on plot, characters, and overall readability. It includes in-margin notes and an edit letter detailing overall thoughts and where your story can be restructured, if necessary.
Does this include line editing?
No, this gig does not include line editing. I have another line editing + developmental editing package available on my profile.
How will the edits be delivered?
As a Word document with track changes.
What genres do you edit?
Almost all forms of fiction and memoir. It's best to message me before you place an order so we can find out if I'm the right fit. The only genre I do not edit is NON-FICTION.
Do you edit non-fiction?
No, I only edit fiction and memoir. I can point you to non-fiction editors if you wish.
