FAQ
Do you provide instrumental mixes for TV/Film?
Yes. I can provide a "Master Pack," which includes the mastered full mix, an unmastered instrumental mix, and a vocal-only one. The Master Pack is an add-on for an additional $50 and is included in Premium packages.
How do I send you the tracks (audio files) for mixing?
Depending on the DAW you use in production, there are a few different ways to send the files. Check out these videos on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVttS0kA7Uc or Contact me and I can help with this process. You can send the files via Google Drive, We Transfer, or Dropbox.
What sample rate and bit depth should the files be?
Please send the files at the sample rate and bit depth in which they were recorded. At a minimum, the files should be 16bit/44.1k.
Can I send you a reference for the mix?
Yes! :) You can send a reference mix or an artist reference track with your files. **NOTE** if you are in love with your reference mix and want me to duplicate what you've already done, I'm not your guy. :) You are hiring me to mix your song, not reproduce someone else's mix.
Do you tune vocals?
Doing all the track and vocal comps, edits, and tuning would be best before sending the files to mix. However, I can tune vocals for an additional $100 per song. Vocal tuning is included in the Premium Mix Package
How do I send you revisions?
The best practice is to sit with the new mix for a day. Let your ears get adjusted to the new sound of your song. Then take notes on the items you want me to adjust and create a mix revision "punch list." You can send that in the project chat section.
What if I want an extra revision?
You can add revisions for $50/addition revision.
