I am a teacher in Germany for German, History and Philosophy. I also published a non-fiction book and academic articles at my area of expertise. I consider myself as a person with broad interests and I love to read. That makes fiverr so compelling to me. :)
I am an expert on proofreading AI translated texts and recently worked as a Linguistic Editor for DeepL. At Fiverr, with my general proofreading gig I already worked with a lot of AI translated or generated texts (epecially copywriting and marketing related) and therefore I am the best choice to see all their flaws and to give them a native German touch.
I always do both at once, proofreading and editing.
Proofreading: Spelling, punctuation, grammar, typos, syntax, standardising typography.
Editing: Replacement of repeated words, simplification and improvement of expression and sentence structure, insertion of passive constructions and scientific formulations.

Can I request specific changes or ask you to focus on specific areas of my document?

Why are there different prices for DeepL and ChatGPT translated texts?
ChatGPT proves to be more inconsistent while translating texts and/or occassionally forgets about its prompt. General Quality with DeepL is better and as consequence is less work for a native proofreader.
