What info do you require to get started?
Regarding data scraping, I would need the source website link with the data fields marked. In the case of automation, I would need a detailed list of steps the bot is required to follow from start to finish. If additional information is required, it will be communicated to you.
Do I need to know python in order to use the webscraper?
Not actually but, you must be able to install python and pip on your machine. You also need to have a basic understanding of setting up environmental variables on the platform of your choice.
Can you setup my environment for the script to run (locally) or remotely?
If you don't have any familiarity with python or setting up an environment than I may be able to setup it up for you in case you have opted for my setup service which is available as extra.
Is source code included?
For most cases, yes but may vary from project to project.
What is the policy on revisions?
Yes, I’m happy to offer revisions for minor bug fixes or adjustments if needed. However, they don’t cover redo work or changes outside the original order scope. Revisions are available before delivery is accepted or the auto-completion date, whichever is sooner. Extensions won't include revisions.
Do I need to share a budget for longer projects?
For projects extending beyond a week, I kindly request an estimated budget upfront. Developing a detailed plan requires significant time, and having a budget range helps ensure the proposed solution aligns with your expectations from the start, making the best use of both our time.
