What exactly is an AI agent and how is it different from a chatbot?
A chatbot answers questions. An AI agent does things — it can browse the web, query databases, write and run code, call APIs, and chain multiple tasks together to complete a goal. I build agents using LangChain and LangGraph that reason through problems and take action autonomously.
What AI models do you work with?
I work with OpenAI (GPT-4o, GPT-4-turbo), Anthropic Claude (claude-3.5-sonnet, claude-opus), and open-source models via Ollama or Hugging Face. I'll recommend the best model for your use case — Claude is often better for long-context reasoning, GPT-4o for general tasks.
What is RAG and do I need it?
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) lets an AI answer questions using your documents, website, or database — rather than just its training data. If you want an AI that knows about your product, policies, or data, you need RAG. I build RAG pipelines using Supabase pgvector, Pinecone, or FAISS.
Will I receive the source code and can I maintain it myself?

What's LangGraph and when do you use it over LangChain?
LangChain is great for single-agent chains. LangGraph is what I use for complex multi-agent systems where different agents need to collaborate, hand off tasks, and maintain shared state. If your use case involves multiple AI "roles" working together, LangGraph is the right tool.
