About this gig
Your data is stuck in emails, PDFs, exports or pasted text, and someone retypes it into a spreadsheet. I build the extraction that pulls the fields out into clean rows.
From simple to complex:
Consistent formats, like exports, form emails and logs, parsed with tested rules
Mixed layouts: PDFs and emails that vary, brought into one table
Unstructured documents such as invoices, letters and receipts, read with AI, then checked against your rules
Output to Google Sheets, Excel or CSV, with every record it could not read listed, not dropped
Both 5-star reviews on this gig are for extraction work, one of them a pattern that "many have failed" before me.
Send two or three real samples with your order. They decide the approach more than any description does.

I automate the work your team still does by hand, mostly in Google Sheets, Apps Script and Python.
Nine years and nearly 100 completed client projects, with repeat clients in London and Belgium.
What I build:
• Google Sheets & Apps Script: Gmail, Drive and Docs automation, triggers, menus
• Python scripts & web scraping: data pulled, cleaned and delivered on schedule
• Chrome extensions: Manifest V3; my own is live on the Chrome Web Store
I build in logging and error alerts, so a broken run gets noticed instead of failing silently. If a free tool already does the job, I'll tell you.

FAQ
Can you read scanned PDFs?
Text PDFs, yes. Scanned PDFs need text recognition first, which works on clean scans; send one and I'll tell you how well it reads.
How does the AI part stay accurate?
The AI reads each document into fields, then every field is checked against your rules: formats, totals, required values. Anything that fails is listed for a person to review, never written in silently.

Excellent service, despite my poor skills at describing what I needed done, the seller was understanding and asked the right questions to find out exactly what I want! I was very pleased with this experience and would recommend to anyone that needs some quick regex work.
