Can you update an old PHP website?
Yes, in most cases. I assess code, dependencies and hosting first. Compatibility depends on those, so some old applications need extra modifications, which I will quote before starting.
Can you upgrade PHP without breaking my website?
I take a backup, test on staging where possible, and fix compatibility issues. I cannot promise zero changes for very old or unmaintained code.
Can you fix PHP2Shell?
PHP2Shell is a flaw in the PHP runtime, fixed by updating PHP to an official patched version (8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 or 8.2.35, or your distribution's patched package). I do this where I have server access. On shared hosting, your host must apply it
Can you remove malware and malicious PHP code?
I investigate and remove malicious code I can confirm. I cannot guarantee that every trace is found or that reinfection will never happen
Can you fix PHP compatibility errors?
Yes: deprecated functions, type errors, missing extensions and similar upgrade issues.
Do you support Laravel?
Yes, for upgrade and maintenance of Laravel apps. Please message me first.
Do you need SSH or cPanel access?
For server-level patching or cleanup, yes. For an assessment, version info and logs may be enough. Use a temporary account, never post credentials in public chat
What if my site is already compromised?
Message me before ordering. Do not delete files. I will advise on containment, then scope the cleanup.
Is a backup required?
Strongly recommended. I will take one before changes where access allows.
Do you work on Shopify or other hosted platforms?
YES. I work on Shopify, PHP sites and servers where PHP is under your or your host's control.
