Level 1
About this gig
I am a Senior Level Designer with over 6 years AAA experience at Ubisoft, Gameloft and in Solo Development, specializing in structural flow, visual composition, pvp spaces, traversal, open world navigation and mission pacing. I help indie studios and solo developers turn raw mechanics into intuitive, memorable spaces that guide players naturally without hand-holding.
Whether you need an expert critique or a production-ready blockout, I bring proven AAA development standards to your project in Unreal Engine 5 or Unity.
What I Offer:
- Level Audits: In-depth consulting of pacing, layout, and navigation.
- Greybox: Playable 3D blockouts tuned to your game metrics with clear color coding.
- L1 First-Pass: Dressing the greybox with your 3D assets, guide lighting, and gameplay ingredients.
Scope Boundary:
I focus strictly on level design. I do not provide Blueprints/C# scripting, enemy AI logic, or custom 3D modeling.
Looking for a larger scope? For full campaigns, open worlds, or advanced L2/L3 production, DM me. I am open to custom milestone contracts tailored to your studio's development schedule.
Please message me before ordering so we can review your needs!

FAQ
What does "L1 Level of Quality" mean?
L1 is the stage where the functional gameplay blockout is finalized and dressed with an initial pass of environment art and lighting. It validates both the gameplay flow and the artistic composition before handing the space off for final polish, collision passes, and optimization (L2/L3)
What kind of projects have you worked on?
I have over 6 years of experience in AAA development. My portfolio includes Assassin's Creed Mirage, where I focused on open-world hubs, The Division 2 where I designed open combat arenas, and Star Wars: Outlaws, where I had full ownership over 2 Main Quests.
Can you script my doors, puzzles, or enemy AI?
Unfortunately no. On this gig I focus entirely on spatial layout, pacing, sightlines, and ingredient placement. You will receive a clean, organized scene where your programmers or scripters can easily hook up logic, triggers, and AI volumes to the designated zones.
What kind of assets do I need to provide for the Premium tier?
You must provide static meshes that are already imported and functional in Unreal Engine or Unity. The meshes should have materials assigned and basic collisions set up. I place these assets to create composition and flow, but I do not repair broken 3D models or re-rig meshes.
Can I order a custom scope larger than a single zone?
Yes. For full game chapters, multi-level campaigns, or recurring design consulting, reach out via direct message. We will evaluate your design brief and structure a custom milestone offer that matches your development schedule.
Why do you require a message before ordering?
Level design is deeply tied to character mechanics. Reviewing your jump distances, movement speed, and camera perspective beforehand guarantees that the layout I deliver plays correctly out of the box without needing destructive layout changes later.
