I will analyze your manufacturing capacity and identify bottlenecks
Operations and Business Analyst Manufacturing Cost and Process
About this Gig
Are you unsure whether your manufacturing operation has enough capacity to meet demand?
A shop can look busy without knowing where capacity is being consumed, which work center is limiting output, or whether additional demand can realistically be supported.
I will analyze your manufacturing capacity to identify bottlenecks, utilization risks, and capacity gaps affecting production.
Depending on your package, the review can include:
Demand vs. available capacity
Work center and machine utilization
Production rates and available hours
Routing and resource requirements
Bottleneck identification
Capacity gaps and overloaded resources
Prioritized improvement actions
Provide the production data you already use, including Excel/CSV files, ERP or MRP exports, routings, schedules, work-center data, production rates, shifts, or known constraints. Your data does not need to be perfect.
The goal is to answer:
Where is the bottleneck?
How much capacity do we actually have?
Where are we overloaded?
What should we address first?
Built for manufacturers, machine shops, fabricators, and production teams that need better capacity visibility.
Know your true capacity. Find the constraint.

FAQ
What production data do I need to provide?
Your current Excel, CSV, ERP, or MRP exports are usually enough to start. Useful data includes demand, routings, work centers, production rates, available hours, shifts, schedules, and known constraints. Your data does not need to be perfect.
Can you work with incomplete or messy production data?
Yes. Many manufacturers do not have perfect routing, rate, or capacity data. I will work with what you have, identify important gaps or assumptions, and clearly explain where better data may be needed.
What will the capacity analysis tell me?
The analysis can identify overloaded work centers, bottlenecks, utilization levels, capacity gaps, and resources limiting output. The goal is to show where the constraint is and what actions deserve attention first.
Can you determine whether we can take on additional production?
Yes. If you provide the expected demand and routing/resource requirements, I can compare the additional workload against available capacity and identify where the new work may create constraints or risk.
Do I need special capacity planning software?
No. I can work with the production information you already use, including spreadsheets and ERP/MRP exports. The objective is to improve the decisions you can make from your existing data—not require another software system.
