HOW IT IS BUILT
Money is stored as whole cents, never as decimals, so totals never drift. Quantities are exact to a thousandth, so part-kilos stay correct. A ledger that does not balance is refused, not rounded. Every document exports as a real A4 PDF, not a screenshot.
WHAT YOU GET
Requirements written down before anything is built. Then the system, your existing data migrated in, your staff trained, and support afterwards.

I build custom business software for companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf packages.
My work is the systems that run a business day to day: retail and wholesale point of sale, stock and warehouse control with barcode labelling, accounting and double-entry ledgers, loans and savings, import duty calculation, and the reports that come out of them.
I take a project from first conversation to installed and running: requirements, build, data migration, staff training and support. Remote worldwide, on site in Sri Lanka.
Money is exact integers, so totals never drift.

FAQ
I already have a system. Can you take over from it?
Usually yes. I can read data out of most existing systems, spreadsheets and exports and bring it into the new one, so you start with your real history rather than an empty database. Send a sample export and I will tell you what is possible.
How long does a project really take?
A single module is about two weeks. A full linked system is around a month. A multi branch platform with migration is two months or more. The clock starts when requirements are agreed, not at the first message.
Will it work on a phone?
The dense screens, billing and ledgers and reports, are built for a computer because that is where the work is done. Jobs that belong on a phone, like counting stock in the aisle, get their own phone first screen instead of a shrunken desktop page.
What happens after delivery?
Support is included. Beyond that, changes and new modules are quoted separately. I do not disappear after handover; most of my work comes from businesses I have already built something for.
Do you build desktop apps or websites?
Mostly modern Windows desktop apps: installed on your own computers, fast, and still working when the internet is down, with receipt printers, barcode scanners and cash drawers connected. Where people need access from anywhere, I build it for the web instead.
