What is Amazon S3 and CloudFront?
Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) is a scalable storage solution for storing and retrieving data. CloudFront is a content delivery network (CDN) service by AWS that delivers content with low latency and high transfer speeds.
Why should I use S3 and CloudFront for my website?
Using S3 with CloudFront helps in offloading media files from your web server, improving load times, reducing server load, and enhancing scalability and security.
Is it necessary to use a CDN like CloudFront?
A CDN like CloudFront distributes your content globally, reducing latency and improving user experience. It’s especially beneficial for websites with international audiences or heavy traffic.
Will this setup affect my website’s performance?
When configured correctly, S3 and CloudFront typically enhance website performance by serving content faster and reducing load times.
