What genres do you provide developmental editing for?
Any non-fiction genre. However, I primarily work with memoirs, self-help, business-related, and Christian books.
Will you do rewrites or make changes to my manuscript?
No, my goal as your developmental editor is to provide you with feedback on how you can improve your writing. I will make suggestions on what needs to be improved, however, you will handle rewrites and make structural changes if there are any needed.
Will you provide developmental editing for books that were written by AI?
No, I do not provide developmental editing for books primarily written by AI within this gig. Please see my other gig.
Does my order include follow-up support after delivery?
You may request clarification of one specific recommendation if something in the assessment is unclear. Additional questions, revision planning, brainstorming, or discussion about how to implement the feedback can be addressed during a paid 30-minute Zoom consultation.
My manuscript is more than 20,000 words, how much would my manuscript be?
Please message me with your exact word count and I will provide a quote.
Will you review my synopsis, outline, book description, etc.?
Additional documentation, such as synopsis, outlines, book descriptions, etc., will only be reviewed if included in the word count. So for example, if your manuscript is 10,000 words and your additional documentation is 5,000 words, your total word count is 15,000 words.
