Gig Summary
About this gig
I'm Héctor Castrillón, a Senior Concept Artist with 7+ years of experience in visual development for games, publishing, and product design. I specialize in sci-fi hard surface vehicles, spacecraft, mechs, and weapons using a hybrid pipeline that combines VR sculpting, 3D modeling, and digital painting.
Every concept is built with structural logic underneath. The design holds up from every angle because it was engineered that way, not just painted to look good. That's what separates production-level concept art from generic illustration.
My process adapts to what you need: pure sketches for early ideation, 3D orthographic views for technical clarity, or a fully rendered cinematic illustration for final presentation. Whatever stage your project is at, I can deliver at that level.
Before starting I review your brief personally to align on direction, references, and tone. I don't begin until we're on the same page.
If your project demands concept art that commands attention and holds up under professional scrutiny, this is the right place.

I'm Héctor Castrillón, a Senior Concept Artist with 7+ years in sci-fi hard surface design — vehicles, mechs, weapons, spacecraft, and book covers for games, publishing, and product development.
My process is hybrid: 3D-aided pipeline (VR, Blender, Substance Painter, Plasticity) for structure, then Photoshop for final illustration. The result is concept art that looks production-ready and holds up under scrutiny.
From ideation to final render. Based in Colombia, working globally. behind it, that's exactly what I deliver.
