About this gig
Hi there! If you have written a story and want it brought to life visually, I would love to help! This gig includes 25 black-and-white illustrations plus a full-color cover, all drawn by hand in one of the styles I work in most often.
As far as styles goes, they range from cartoon, to ink wash, to detailed pen and ink. These are reflected in the samples shown in the gallery. These styles are my most commonly used, and are also the ones I can deliver most efficiently (while still being high quality). If you are looking for something a little different, maybe closer to one of my other projects or something unique to your story, that is totally fine! Just reach out first so we can talk through it. That sort of change may affect pricing or turnaround time.
Also, please reach out before ordering if you can! I usually prefer doing this as a custom milestone-based order, which keeps everything smoother and more organized for both of us (especially on big projects like this).

Hello! I am the Crosshatching Chronicler! I specialize in pen and ink, as well as watercolor. My favorite things to illustrate are people, animals, and anything fantasy or mythology related. What kinds of stories will you illustrate?
Most genres are welcome—funny, dark, historical, whimsical, etc. I just avoid anything that is unnecessarily controversial. If you’re unsure, feel free to ask first!
Can you illustrate in a different style than what’s shown here?
Yes! The styles shown are my fastest and most affordable. If you want something different, just message me first—it may change pricing or timing.
How long will the full project take?
Depends on the style: cartoon (~3–4 weeks), ink wash (~4–6 weeks), detailed pen and ink (~6–8 weeks). I’ll confirm the timeline once I know the scope.
What if I don’t know exactly what I want drawn yet?
No problem! I can help you choose key scenes based on your story. Just send the manuscript or summary and we’ll figure it out together!
Do you offer revisions?
Yes! I include sketch approvals and batch reviews. Revisions are part of the process (within reason), especially when using milestone orders.
Will the illustrations be ready for printing or publishing?
Yes! I deliver high-resolution, print-ready files. Just let me know if your printer has specific requirements—I’m happy to format accordingly.
Do I need to credit you as the illustrator?
Yes, credit is appreciated! If you buy through Fiverr, you own the rights—but credit helps! I have an illustrator/author page on Amazon and can send a short bio if needed.
