Do you identify people, dates, or events in my photos?
No - I use only the information YOU provide. Label each batch with Ziploc bags/sticky notes, and I'll use exactly what you write. Unlabeled batches get generic names like "Unlabeled_Batch_01.jpg"
How should I ship my photos?
Photos don't qualify for Media Mail. Use USPS Ground Advantage or First Class Mail. Always use tracking! Pack carefully in padded envelope with cardboard. I'm US-based and will provide my address after you order.
What if I don't know the exact dates or events?
Use whatever info you have! "1980s_Summer", "Childhood_Photos", or "Dads_Military_Service" all work. I can only use what you provide - I can't guess dates, people, or events from the photos.
Are my photos safe with you?
Absolutely. I handle all photos with gloves, store them securely during scanning, and package them carefully for return. I've never lost or damaged a client's photo.
How should I organize and label my photos before shipping?
Group related photos in Ziploc bags or with rubber bands. Attach sticky notes or write on bags with the info you want in filenames. Examples: "June 1985 - Beach Trip", "Mom's College Years", "Wedding - July 2005"
How long does the whole process take?
Total: 1-3 weeks. You ship to me (2-5 days) + I process (3-14 days) + I ship back (2-5 days). "Delivery time" = when I ship back, not arrival. Cloud link sent immediately when I deliver so you can access files right away!
What size photos can you scan?
I can scan photos up to 8x10 inches. Larger prints (like 11x14 or poster-sized photos) cannot be accommodated with my current equipment. Standard sizes (4x6, 5x7, 8x10) are perfect!
How do I receive my digital files?
Cloud download link (Google Drive) for immediate access. Cloud files available for 30 days.
What's included in return shipping?
For all US orders, I cover the full cost of return shipping! Your original photos and will be shipped back to you via USPS with tracking at no additional charge. International return shipping will be quoted separately.
Can you restore or enhance damaged photos?
For restoration of torn, faded, or damaged photos, message me for custom pricing.
