The 3D character modeling workflow:
- Sculpting & Modelling: Low and High-poly detailing in Maya and ZBrush.
- Retopology & UV Mapping: Industry-standard, quad-based clean topology (Maya).
- Texturing: High-quality stylized and PBR texturing in Substance Painter.
- Rigging & Animation: Advanced Body and Facial rigging in Maya. I handle all rigging and custom posing/animations within Maya.
- Rendering & Compositing: For the final look, I export the scenes or characters from Maya into Blender using .alembic or .fbx files. All rendering and final compositing are done mostly in Blender.
What I Need From You:

1. What is your requirement for 3D Character Modeling?
I need reference images, 2D sketches, vectors, or a basic description of your vision. Whether you have complete concept art or just a rough idea, the more detail you provide, the closer we get to your final character!
2. What formats will I receive for the final delivery?
I provide industry-standard formats based on your project: Renders/Animation: High-quality PNG or MP4. 3D Models: FBX, OBJ, or .BLEND. Project Files: Native .MA / .MB (Maya) files. Specialty: I can also provide STL for 3D printing or engine-compatible files for Unreal Engine/Unity if requested.
3. Can I get the character rig and source files?
Yes! I handle the entire advanced rigging and animation process within Maya. You will receive the source rig files in .MA or .MB format. While I use Blender for the final rendering, please note that the technical rigging logic is Maya-based, and I provide the native Maya rig files.
4. Is the character "Game-Ready"?
Absolutely! Unless requested otherwise, I follow a full production pipeline including clean quad-based retopology and optimized UV mapping. My characters are fully optimized and ready to be integrated into modern game engines like Unreal Engine 5 or Unity.
