WordPress Backup:
- All WordPress backups are done in cPanel server level (not using plugins) to make sure I capture all your server files as well as the correct database your site uses.
- All backups are delivered in TAR.GZ or ZIP files.
- I can backup sites just about any size, if your website is over 10GB, please reach out so I can provide a custom quote for you.
WordPress Transfer:
- I can transfer your WordPress site to a new hosting platform, or new domain name, or subdomain.
- I can transfer your live site to a staging site for development, or vice versa.
- I can clone your site to a new domain.
- All sites are fully backed up before any cloning or migration.

What format are your backups delivered in?
Your WordPress files will be delivered in the TAR.GZ or ZIP file format. Your Database files will be compressed as a ".SQL.ZIP" file. Both files will be delivered in one large ZIP file. I will share this file with you via DropBox.
How do I know how large my website is?
You can ask your hosting provider or login to your cPanel. On the lower right hand side, it should tell you how large your site is. If you're hosting multiple sites in one hosting that number may be larger than the size of your single site.
What if my website is larger than 10GB, can you still back it up or migrate it?
Yes! Please reach out to me so we can discuss your options.
I have my own backup and you restore it from my files?
Maybe, as long as your backup was completed correctly, and it hasn't been too long. Please reach out to me and I'll discuss your options.
Will there be any downtime?
For backups, none at all. For site migration, there may be a few minutes for downtime, but it varies based on site. Please reach out to me and we can discuss your needs.
My site isn't working correctly can it be migrated?
Yes, there may be some additional costs to fix before it can be migrated, but please reach out so we can discuss your situation.
