I will reverse engineer die cast enclosures stl to production cad ready in solidworks

About this gig
Your foundry is waiting on a drawing. Your enclosure has no CAD file. Your tooling slot is slipping that ends today.
I am a SolidWorks reverse engineering specialist focused exclusively on die cast aluminum, zinc alloy, and magnesium enclosures. From physical samples, photogrammetry data, or raw STL mesh files, I reconstruct complete parametric SolidWorks models built to casting process standards not just visual accuracy.
What I Deliver:
- STL to production CAD with ±0.05 mm dimensional accuracy
- Correct draft angles on every wall and feature for clean ejection
- Parting line definition and undercut elimination
- Boss, rib, and snap fit geometry optimized for die cast flow
- PCB mounting and fitment validation inside the enclosure
- Uniform wall thickness analysis to prevent sink and porosity
- 2D tooling drawings with full GD&T callouts
- STEP, IGES, Parasolid, SLDPRT, PDF
Why I'm Your Safest Choice:
- I design for the die caster, not just the screen
- Every model passes draft analysis before delivery
- I verify PCB clearance so your board fits first time
- NDA signed upfront, your enclosure IP stays protected
Message me your scan files or photos now. I'll confirm scope and timeline within 2 hours.

FAQ
I only have a physical enclosure, no scan. Can you still work?
Yes. Send me clear photos from all six sides with a ruler visible for scale. I'll reconstruct the full geometry from photographs and any dimensions you can measure with calipers.
Will your CAD file actually be accepted by a die casting factory?
Every model I deliver includes proper draft angles, uniform wall thickness, and parting line placement. I run draft analysis in SolidWorks before export
Can you verify that my PCB fits inside the enclosure?
Absolutely. Send me your board dimensions or STEP file. I model internal standoffs, boss locations, and connector cutouts to confirm full PCB clearance.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, before any files are exchanged. Send your company's NDA or I'll provide mine
What if my STL mesh is low quality or has errors?
I handle that as part of my workflow. Broken meshes, holes, overlapping faces, and noisy scan artifacts are cleaned and repaired before I begin the parametric rebuild.
Can I edit the SolidWorks file myself after delivery?
100%. Every model is built with a structured feature tree using sketches, extrudes, shells, and fillets. Your engineering team can change any dimension
