What is beta reading?
Beta reading is reader-focused feedback on a manuscript, usually after a draft has been written. It looks at how the story reads, including plot, pacing, character development, clarity and emotional impact. It is different from proofreading or copy editing.
Can you read my entire Novel?
Yes, if the manuscript falls within the agreed scope. Please send me your total word count before ordering so I can confirm the appropriate package, price and delivery time.
will my manuscript remain confidential?
I will handle your manuscript carefully and use it only as necessary to complete the agreed service. Please let me know if you have specific confidentiality requirements before ordering so we can clarify them.
What if my manuscript is longer than the package limit?
Please contact me before ordering with your word count and project details. I can review the scope and determine whether a larger package or custom offer is appropriate.
What will I receive from your beta reading service?
You'll receive honest feedback on your manuscript. Depending on your package, you may also receive manuscript notes and a reader report with helpful suggestions.
Do you offer book editing, proofreading, and formatting?
