About this Gig
This model will help you to raise money from VCs and explain how you plan to generate traction and show how you are going to use the Investor's money.
I build all my models according to investment banking standards and you get the best possible model, regardless of the package you choose. However, some business models are more complex than others, ranging from the traditional online shop (simple) to complex marketplaces such as Amazon, Fiverr or SaaS companies.
Which package you need depends primarily on your business model.
In any case, you will get the best model I can build - which is good enough to impress most VCs.
What is special about this model? It is explicitly for companies that want to fundraise and contains some additional information such as capital requirements and, for example, does not include a valuation (as a startup you will lose in most cases using a traditional DCF or multiple valuation).
In most cases I build these models completely custom and need some numbers/assumptions from you, if you don't have them yet, that's no problem I can make assumptions that you can edit later.

Who are you?
A somewhat strange combination of entrepreneur, consultant and venture capitalist. I am still trying to figure it out.
Why should I work with you?
Founders actually pitched me for an institutional Investment - I have seen many "Dos and Don'ts" and saw what successful founders do different. I am trying to bring those learnings to all my clients.
Why does the model not have a balance sheet?
Because no investor is interested (honestly). The balance sheet is actually only important for companies that have been around for a long time. In the case of a startup or a small company, the balance sheet has almost no meaning to it.
Can I get custom functions?
Sure! :-)
Is the model 100% unlocked?
Yes, you can edit everything. To prevent my work from being stolen and sold on, I add a bit of magic. You or your investor will not see or notice anything of this.
Is the model licensed?
Yes, I issue a license for every single Fiverr customer and each project.
Why is no valuation included?
As a founder, you have no interest in a classic valuation. Company valuation works by discounting cash flows, for most startups these cash flows are negative and thus also the company value. If you start a company you have no interest in a classic valuation and you will almost always lose.
Can you build a valuation?
Yes.
Do I need to understand excel to work on the model?
That's a tough one. If you just want to change some assumptions, that's easy. However, if you want to make bigger changes, you should be an excel pro.
