Can you rig a character model I already have?
Yes. Send your model file in .blend, .fbx, or .obj format and I'll build the armature directly on your mesh. I'll handle bone placement, parenting, and weight painting.
What is the difference between IK and FK rigging?
IK (Inverse Kinematics) lets you move the hand or foot and the limb follows automatically — great for walk cycles. FK (Forward Kinematics) gives direct control over each bone — better for arcs and fluid motion. Standard and Premium packages include both.
Do you rig non-human or creature characters?
Yes. I rig humanoids, stylized cartoon characters, creatures, and fantasy figures. For quadrupeds or very unusual anatomy, message me first so I can give you an accurate quote.
Will the rig work in Unity or Unreal Engine?
Yes. Blender rigs can be exported as FBX for Unity and Unreal Engine. Let me know your target engine before ordering and I'll optimize the bone structure and naming accordingly.
Do you do weight painting as part of the rig?
Yes, weight painting is included in all packages. I make sure the mesh deforms cleanly with no pinching, collapsing, or unwanted stretching around joints.
Can you use Rigify or Auto-Rig Pro for the armature?
Yes. I can work with Rigify or Auto-Rig Pro if you prefer those systems. Mention it when ordering and I'll set up the rig using your preferred addon.
What files will I receive when the order is complete?
You'll receive the fully rigged .blend source file plus any requested exports such as FBX. Premium orders also include a short animation test video showing the rig in motion.
