I will run your mixes through real vintage analog tape

Give your mixes the richness, warmth and depth of real analog tape, adding authentic tape saturation and tone you can't fake with plugins.

I'll run your tracks through a fully maintained MCI JH-110B ¼" Professional tape machine and capture it back to WAV.

The Process

• Transfer your stereo mix (or tracks) to analog tape and back
• Capture that tape saturation & harmonic coloration
• Optional vari-speed/Tape speed adjustment available

Turnaround & Revisions

• Standard delivery: 1-3 days
• A revision is done only IF a tape drop out happens

What You Need to Provide

• The Final mix (not mastered) in WAV / AIFF. Add Fade outs AFTER tape transfer, so you can fade out the tape hiss and not fade into hiss.

I also offer converting reel-to-reel tapes and vinyl LP records to high-resolution digital audio files for archiving and restoration.

Technical stuff

Sequoia DAW system feeding Mytek DA-192DSD converters, into our Great River Mastering EQ for HP filtering needed for tape. Then it hits our Manley Mastering Edition Variable MU, adding beautiful tones from its many transformers and tubes, that drives our amazing 1979 MCI JH-110B 1/4" 15IPS Mastering deck modified with API 2520 op-amps on the I/O.
