On average, it takes 4-6 weeks to fully produce an audiobook including prep, narration, editing, and post-production. This is determined by the length of the book. Shorter books take less time, while longer books, take, well, longer. In any case, I promise to keep you informed of the progress.

Audiobook recording is based on word count. For example, 9,300 words is considered equal to approximately one Finished Hour. A Finished Hour is a fully edited, mastered, ready to upload hour of your book's audio. It may take a narrator 2-4 hours to complete one Finished Hour due to editing,etc.

Yes. I can do an old man, country hillbilly, teen, child, and am willing to try anything. I can do a British, Scottish, Indian, and a Middle Eastern-ish accent. If you have a specific idea in mind, message me to see if I can do it.

As I read I will proofread your script, correcting common grammatical errors in audio form and ensuring the narration flows smoothly. If you'd like these corrections noted in your document please submit an editable document (.docx, .doc) and note this request in your order requirements.

I record in a professional home studio, acoustically treated, and sound deadened. I use an Audio Technica AT2020 large diaphragm condenser microphone, a Scarlett Focusrite Audio Interface, and am currently using Audacity and Reaper as digital audio workstations.

The short answer is No. It is important that you provide me with the final, edited manuscript prior to narration. I provide a checkpoint of the first 5-10 minutes to make sure you like what you hear, and after that, any changes to the script will cost extra. Errors on my part will be fixed for free.

Yes and No. If your audiobook is over 10k words, I would be happy to audition to give you a sense of my sound. If it is under 10k, I normally do not offer an audition. If you want an audition from me for your audiobook, message me with a short sample and I will get it to you ASAP.

I specialize in NON FICTION, however, I'm open to fiction and some other genres. I WILL NOT record erotica, profanity, racially or sexually degrading material.
