What information do you need from me to start?
After ordering, you’ll receive a questionnaire. I’ll need the core message or "story" you want to tell, any specific memories to include, the recipient’s name/address, and any color preferences you have for the artisan paper and wax, or the recipients favorite color choices.
How long does shipping take?
"Delivery Time" on this gig represents the time it takes for me to write, print, and prepare your physical letter. Once the letter is handed to the postal service, and I will provide a confirmation once it has been dispatched. standard shipping times apply based on the destination.
Do you mail the letter directly to the recipient?
Yes. I can mail the letter directly to your recipient. OR I can ship it to you privately for you to hand deliver it. Triple check addresses To & From. If names only , please put To: Name and From: Name But I still need your address to send to you seperately.
Do you offer international mailing?
Yes, I offer an extra "International Mailing" upcharge to cover the increased cost of postage. The delivery times to my local post office remain the same. However, transit times to international address are up to the postal service. Please ensure all informaton submitted is accurate.
How do you handle holiday deadlines?
During peak times (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, December holidays), I recommend ordering at least 20 days in advance for domestic mail and 40 days for international to account for postal delays beyond my control. While I will be busy in studio with orders, so too will the postal service.
Is the "handwritten" text done by hand or printed?
No. To ensure your message is perfectly understood, I use elegant, intentional typography. Hand-delivered letters are too important to risk the legibility issues often found in traditional cursive. Chosen for the best overall look based on the wording used, and proofread by someone I know if needed.
Do I get to select the font used?
No. Because I have thousands, I will choose the best look for the words and intent of the letter. I may even use your letter as reason to buy a new font because it looks absolutely gorgeous on your words and names. The Love theme of your letter, requires elegance as well as legibility.
How do I choose the paper and wax seal colors?
You can either provide specific colors (recipient’s favorite shade (cooler soft pink) in the questionnaire, or you can allow me to curate the palette based on the "mood" of your message. I will do my best to curate the letter, envelope, and seal based on your answer.
Can I see the letter before it is mailed?
Please refer to the revisions allowance. The longer it takes you to review and get back to me, the more it impacts the mailing date. So long as you are okay with that, its fine. I will fine tooth comb your letter for any spelling errors, or wording to ensure it is the best quality writing available.
How is the "Fine-Art Printing" different from a home printer?
I use professional fine-art printers and archival inks. This creates museum-quality saturation and crisp text that standard office printers simply cannot replicate.
