FAQ
My manuscript has been translated into English, can I still place an order with you?
Yes, I accept translated manuscripts. I do however highly recommend authors try to find a proofreader that is fluent in both English and the original language of your book, to eliminate the possibility of texts getting lost in translation.
My romance novel has "spicy" content. Are you comfortable working with that?
Yes! As a romance focused proofreader, who also accepts dark romance, I am comfortable with any explicit content in your works. The only content I refuse to accept is explicit content including minors.
I have not worked with an editor. Can I still place an order?
I highly recommend working working with an editor before working with a proofreader. While a proofreader may be able to do editorial corrections on your manuscript, it is often outside of their line of work. If you are unsure, please message me before putting in an order.
I need my manuscript sooner than listed. Can I place a rush order?
Yes, for an additional fee I can do a rush fee. If you need it sooner, please message me with your specific needs.
Do you proofread LGBTQ+ books?
Yes! As as person in the LGBTQ+ community I would love to proof read your manuscript.
Do you proofread Fanfiction?
Yes! I do proofread Fanfiction.
I generated my book using AI. Can I place an order?
If the bulk of your manuscript is made with AI, I would strongly prefer if you didn't.
Do you use AI software to proofread?
No, I do not use AI while proofreading your work. I am against AI, especially in the creative space.
