IMPORTANT NOTE: Builds are amd64 / x86_64 ONLY. No other architectures.

I've been a Debian and Ubuntu package maintainer and builder for over 7 years, working to automate the builds of very complex projects such PostgreSQL. If your project needs to be built for Debian or Ubuntu systems, I can help!

This gig delivers a bash script, DEB output file, and (if added to the gig) any specification files needed to build the package. It includes the sourcing of one repository (preferably a public one) for one DEB package deliverable, or source sent in a ZIP if the project is private. If you would like, I can also test-install the DEB package output. I can also run regression testing, if that has been made available in the source already.

This gig does not include the creation of Debian specification files necessary to build the package, however I can create these files as a gig add-on. If you don't know if you have Debian specification files, usually they are contained within a "debian" directory at the root of the project, or they're made available via the salsa.debian.org page.
