I will audit your website for wcag 2 2 and bfsg accessibility compliance

About this gig
Since June 28, 2025, accessibility is a legal requirement in Germany - not optional.
The BFSG (Barrierefreiheitsstarkungsgesetz) requires businesses to make their digital services accessible. Non-compliance risks fines up to 100,000 EUR. The problem: most violations are invisible - they hide in the code, colors, and keyboard navigation.
I find them. In writing, with a concrete action plan.
I audit your website against WCAG 2.2 (Level AA) and BFSG - automated AND manual. Automated tools catch only about one third of real barriers. The rest requires a trained eye. That is my job.
You get:
- Full audit report as PDF - clear language, not raw tool output
- Every issue with location, WCAG criterion and concrete fix
- Prioritization by risk: what to fix first, what can wait
- Plain assessment: does BFSG actually apply to you?
What I check: color contrast, alt texts, keyboard navigation, focus visibility, form labels, error messages, semantic HTML, screen reader compatibility, language attributes, skip links and more.
Not sure if BFSG applies to you? Message me before ordering - I will tell you honestly.
Note: This is a technical audit, not legal advice.

FAQ
Do I actually need a BFSG audit?
If you sell products or services to consumers online (shop, booking, contracts), most likely yes. Micro-businesses under 10 employees and under 2 million EUR revenue may be exempt for pure services - but not for product sales. Message me if you are unsure.
Is a free tool not enough?
Automated tools catch about one third of real barriers. Keyboard navigation, meaningful alt texts, logical structure - those require a human reviewer. That is exactly what this gig delivers.
Is this legal advice?
No. I audit technically against WCAG 2.2, EN 301 549 and BFSG. For legally binding statements, consult a lawyer.
