No. And I can't guarantee a sale either. What my agent and I will do is pitch it to as many industry contacts as we can, that we believe might be right for the project. This is normally somewhere between 50 to 100 people and companies.

It depends on the existing material, but typically I would have "Screenplay by" credit and the "Story by" credit would either be yours, or shared between us. If there is source material (like a memoir) then we'd include "Based on a memoir by". Regardless, we agree the credits up front.

It depends on what package you buy. Typically, pitch deck rights automatically go to you - but I retain some rights in the screenplay, especially if I am then pitching it to producers. We agree this up front though.

First we'll agree on an overall strategy and timeline based on the project. Then I'll start work on the treatment of the full story. Once that is signed off I'll write the screenplay - two drafts and a polish - and then I'll create the pitch deck.
