What can I expect when I place an order?
I'll review your order and instructions. I will message you to let you know that I've received everything I need to get started. I'll let you know when you can expect your delivery. Communication through the entire order process is one of my top priorities!
What do I have to provide?
Please send your script to me in a *.doc(x) or *.pdf format after you ordered the gig. For video sync, make sure to buy "Timed Audio Sync" under Extras and send me your video material or timestamps in your script. Please note: I do not write a script for you.
Do I need to send you the script before ordering?
You don't have to. Simply place your order and send the script at the same time and I'll get on it. Make sure your script is the final version. After delivery, any script or performance modifications will require the purchase of additional gig(s).
What projects will you NOT do?
I reserve the right to decline projects if I don't feel comfortable voicing the script. This means, for example: No adult content. No racist content. No gambling. No scams. If you are not sure, please message me with the script prior to ordering.
What is NOT included in the free revisions?
Rewriting your script AFTER I have recorded or delivered your order does not count as the included revisions. Therefore, any changes AFTERWARDS will require an extra charge which we can discuss based on the size of the revision.
Could you translate the script from English into German?
I am very happy to do that, since I have a university degree in German Studies. If you need a translation over 200 words, PLEASE MESSAGE ME FIRST. Script translations from English into German lead to a higher word count. This requires longer video sequences or a shortening of the German script.
Can you sync the voice over to my video game so it will match the timing?
Yes! Make sure to buy "Timed Audio Sync" under Extras and send me your video. You can fit approx. 100-120 words into 60 secs depending on the style. Script translations from English to German lead to a higher word count. This requires longer video sequences OR a shortening of the German script.
Why do I need Commercial Rights?
Any Voice over that will be for business (yours or your clients - like voicemail, videos on Websites, Social Media Platforms, Podcasts) require the purchase of commercial rights. These rights are your legal protection from being sued or having a Digital Copyright Take-down Notice filed against you.
Why do I need Full Broadcast Rights?
Any voice over that will be broadcast on TV, radio or through paid internet channels (e.g. on music/video streaming platforms) require the purchase of Full Broadcast Rights. These rights are your legal protection from being sued or having a Digital Copyright Take-down Notice filed against you.
