About this gig

Replacing desk phones and a PBX with browser-based calling? The decisions made in the first weeks decide whether it scales.

I design WebRTC voice contact centers where application servers never carry media:

- Signaling gateway: WebSocket, JWT auth, rate limits, TURN credentials

- Call routing and ACD: queues, agent and call state machines, atomic assignment with no double booking

- Media: SFU (Janus) with SRTP straight from the browser, so calls survive a signaling restart

- Hooks for STT, sentiment analysis and voicebots

Stack I work with: Java 21 and Spring Boot, Redis, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Janus, coturn, Kubernetes.

Premium includes a working MVP (customer widget, agent console) and a load test report.

All communication is written. Before ordering, send me your current setup, expected concurrent calls, and whether you need PSTN or SIP trunk connectivity.

I have spent about 30 years building telecom software, including network protocols, VoIP, IMS, and SIP systems. Currently, I lead the AI R&D Center at UANGEL, where I design carrier-grade systems that integrate LLMs and speech AI under strict telecom constraints. I specialize in voice AI, real-time communication, and cloud-native MLOps.
