FAQ
What do you need from me before starting the project?
I’ll need your manuscript or story, character descriptions, preferred illustration style, page count, and any visual references you have. If you don’t have everything figured out yet, I can help you organize the requirements.
Can you illustrate characters with different backgrounds and appearances?
Yes. I can create diverse children's book characters with different skin tones, hairstyles, facial features, clothing, and personalities while keeping the artwork appropriate for your story.
How do you maintain character consistency throughout the book?
I establish the characters' appearance, clothing, proportions, colors, and key features before illustrating the full book. This helps maintain a consistent look from page to page.
Do I get to review the artwork during the process?
Yes. I can provide sketches or draft stages for review so you can give feedback before the illustrations are finalized.
Can you format my complete book for Amazon KDP?
Yes. I can prepare your illustrated book interior and provide print-ready files suitable for KDP based on the required book dimensions and specifications.
What file formats will I receive?
Depending on the package, you can receive high-resolution JPG and PNG files, print-ready PDF files, and PSD source files.
How do revisions work?
Revisions are included with the packages. I’ll work with your feedback to make reasonable changes and ensure the final artwork matches the agreed direction.
Can you include my written story in the illustrated pages?
Yes. I can help place your text alongside the illustrations and create a clean, readable layout suitable for a children's book.
What if I only have the manuscript and don't know what each page should show?
That's completely fine. I can review your story and help develop visual ideas, scenes, character actions, and page-by-page illustration concepts.
Will I have commercial rights to use the illustrations?
Yes. Commercial rights are included according to the terms of the package you purchase, allowing you to use the completed artwork for your book and related commercial publishing purposes.
