Hi, I'm Julian Koehler, a mixing and mastering engineer with 15 years of experience in music production. My main focus is electronic music, Techno and Hardtechno, but I work across other genres as well.
I trained at the HOFA College and have worked with a wide range of artists. Every track should sound exactly the way it's meant to, clear, punchy and translating well on every system.
Beyond mixing and mastering I also offer vocal cleanup, podcast editing and sound design.

FAQ
What format should I send the files?
48kHz/24bit WAV files are best. I can work with mp3s, but this is not ideal. Please make sure there is no compression, EQ or limiter on the tracks or master/stereo output and at least a few dB of headroom with no clipping (-3dB/-6dB/-12dB).
How should I send the files?
Feel free to send me the stems as a ZIP file here in the chat or via a DropBox, WeTransfer or GoogleDrive link. Please include a rough mix of your song. You are also welcome to include references, but they should be similar to your track. Before placing an order, please contact me first.
Can you edit other types of audio files?
Yes, I can edit other types of audio files as long as they are in WAV/AIFF/MP3 (320 kbps) format.
How long does it take for you to edit my audio files?
The editing time depends on the number and complexity of the files, usually I can start working immediately after receiving the files and finish it within 1-2 days.
Can you apply certain effects or styles to my vocals?
Yes, I can apply certain effects or styles to your vocals as long as they are within my scope of performance and have been discussed in advance.
What happens if I am not satisfied with the edited result?
If you are not satisfied with the processed result, please contact me within 7 days after receiving the files to find a solution.
Can I give you notes and specific instructions for my vocals?
Yes, I welcome notes and specific instructions to ensure that your requirements and expectations are met. Please send me these instructions along with the audio files.
