Hi, I'm Julian Koehler, audio engineer and founder of Tonstudio Audionique. With 15 years of experience in music production, my focus is on Techno, Hardtechno and electronic music, but I work across all genres.
I trained at the HOFA College and have since worked with artists, labels and content creators across Europe. My standard is simple: every track should sound exactly the way it's meant to, punchy, clear and ready for any system.
Beyond mixing and mastering I also offer vocal cleanup, podcast editing, sound design and custom EQ profiling.

What file formats do you accept?
I accept stems in WAV, AIFF or MP3 formats at 320 kbps. Please make sure the files are of high quality to get the best possible result.
How should I send the stems?
Feel free to send me the stems as a ZIP file here in the chat or via a DropBox, WeTransfer or GoogleDrive link. Please include a rough mix of your song. You are also welcome to include references, but they should be similar to your track. Before placing an order, please contact me first.
Can you master my mixdown as well?
Yes, you can book this option.
How much experience do you have mixing music of genres other than electronic?
Although I specialize in electronic music, I also have experience mixing other genres of music such as rock, pop, hip-hop and more. Contact me to discuss your specific requirements.
What happens if I am not satisfied with the finished mix?
I work hard to ensure that every customer is satisfied with the finished mix. If you are still not satisfied with the result, please contact me within 7 days after delivery of the mixdown so that I can make the necessary adjustments.
Can I send you a reference recording or a specific mix as an example?
Yes, you are welcome to send me a reference recording or a specific mix as an example to make sure I can better understand and implement your sonic ideas.
How do you work to make sure the mix reflects the sound I have in mind?
I work closely with my clients to ensure that the mix reflects the sound they have in mind. Before starting the project, I will have a detailed discussion with you to understand your expectations and wishes.
Do I need a certain number of stems to use your services?
There is no minimum number of stems you need to use my services. Although more stems give you better control over the individual elements of the mix, I can also work with fewer stems to achieve an excellent result.
