I am a web novel writer and have recently gotten into learning the ropes of proofreading. I wish to offer my proofreading services to gain more experience in the field as I work.
About this Gig
I will read through a manuscript and highlight typos, punctuation errors, and grammar issues depending on the customer's preference. I currently accept only manuscripts of 2500 words or fewer due to my beginner status. I accept both PDF and DOCX files.

Do you use software for your proofreading?
Yes, I use basic spellcheck features, which are in most writing applications. I also use Grammarly for spotting the biggest issues. However, I primarily rely on my own ability to read through manuscripts and catch errors.
Do you correct the issues or only highlight them?
I currently can do both, but leave it up to customer preference.
How long have you been writing and proofreading?
I began genuinely learning to write in high school and have been working on a web novel for over a year now, which is now on its second draft. As for proofreading, I am fairly new to the field and wish to improve my skills so I can continue to become a better writer. Fiverr gives me this opportunity
Do you use successful jobs in your portfolio?
