I'm not a professional, just an enthusiastic Sci-Fi/Fantasy reader.
I've provided proofreading help to friends and co-workers, and have a relatively keen eye for errors. I can provide a cheap, preliminary proofread and editing service to help you get the worst out of the way.
I'm just starting out and I love reading, so currently I'll do an entire book (~500 standard pages) for $5, to see if new authors get any value from my services.
