Trevor O was selected by the Fiverr Pro team for their expertise.
About this gig
Priced per finished hour (about 10,000 words). If your book runs over 3 finished hours, please message me before ordering so we can agree on a delivery date.
I'm Trevor. I've worked on countless titles available through Audible. This gig is for authors and narrators who have already recorded their book and need it ready for release. Narration is not included.
Every order includes:
- Editing: retakes, mistakes and long pauses removed, pacing tightened, breaths and mouth clicks cleaned up
- Proofing: I listen against your manuscript and send a list of misreads and missing lines with timestamps. When you record the pickups, I drop them in.
- Mastering to ACX specs (RMS, peak and noise floor), with room tone at the start and end of each chapter
- ACX-ready MP3s split by chapter
- A retail audio sample
What I need from you:
- Raw recordings (WAV preferred)
- Your manuscript
Finished files are ready for Audible (through ACX), Apple Books, Author's Republic and other platforms.

FAQ
Do your edits meet the requirements for ACX, Author's Republic, or other markets?
Yes! I can deliver projects adherent to whatever standards you may require for the platform you intend to use for audio book distribution. Just let me know which marketplace you're using when you order.
I want to hear a sample before ordering. Will you edit a sample of my book?
Yes! I can edit a sample of your book for you, to help you determine if I am the right editor for your particular story. While you wait for me to edit your sample, I invite you to listen to the samples on my gig page and hear work I've completed for other authors.
Will you upload the book to ACX for me?
No, I do not provide this service. For help with this process, you can visit ACX.com.
What is a "Retail Audio Sample?"
The retail audio sample used on Audible and Amazon is a short preview of your Audiobook. A great sample will show off your material and attract paying customers! We typically use a 1-5 minute excerpt from the beginning of the book, as it usually sets the tone for the rest of the book quite well.
Do you edit AI voiced audiobooks?
No, I do not. All of my edits are, as Tank from the Matrix would say, "100% pure old-fashioned homegrown human." This is for multiple reasons, not the least of which is the fact that AI narrated books just plain suck. Thank you for keeping art human.

Trevor was exceptional to work with. He was the main narrator of my novella but he also recruited other narrators to read chapters within the novella....exactly what I requested. The other narrators were perfect just like Trevor. I am grateful to Trevor and the other narrators for doing such awesome...

Trevor was an absolute professional from start to finish. Excellent narration quality, clear communication throughout, and delivery that met professional ACX standards. He clearly knows the Audible requirements inside and out, which gave me a lot of confidence moving into publication. Highly recommend if you’re producing an audiobook and want it done right.
