Mainly Chillaxing Jazz Kollektion, Paul Hardcastle, and Kool & Klean. The three artists mentioned have rather lounge-ish, more atmospheric and sound-wise complex style than the traditional Smooth Jazz (Kenny G and Brian Culbertson) which usually are more simple in terms of musical instruments

Mainly Celso Fonseca, especially his work on "Samba É Tudo" and "Slow Motion Bossa Nova". Also Schwarz and Funk (not primarily a Bossa Nova artist, but Chillout Lounge) with their work on "Summer Breeze". With the mentioned inspirations, it's more of Smooth Bossa Nova, not Jobim's style of the 1960s

The music production steps of this gig usually comprise of 1. Recording / Sound Design, 2. Arranging, 3. Mixing. So mixing is included but not mastering. I'll provide you a "master" track which really is just some loud maximizing, but nowhere near real mastering by a seasoned mastering engineer.

I use two different ones. The first is Maschine 2, connected to its dedicated hardware. I use this for tracking/recording, sound design and arranging. Second one is Magix Music Maker for mixing and further tweaks after the music has been put together in Maschine 2.

I avoid using loops in my production. All instruments and sounds used for this gig's music are either from my collection of virtual or hardware instruments. Especially the drums, as I have Maschine 2 with several expansions, plus 7 different hardware drum machines for my drum sound design matters.
