I will design custom replacement parts stl cad models for 3d printing and prototyping

About this gig
A broken, missing, discontinued, or hard-to-find part can turn a perfectly usable product into something you cannot use.
Instead of spending hours searching for an exact replacement that may no longer exist, I can recreate the part as a 3D-printable CAD/STL model based on your existing part, measurements, photos, sketches, or reference dimensions.
I specialize in creating custom replacement parts for 3D printing, prototyping, testing, and small-batch manufacturing.
What I can help you with
- Broken or damaged replacement parts
- Discontinued or unavailable components
- Custom mechanical parts
- Replacement brackets and mounts
- Covers, clips, knobs and housings
- Spacers, adapters and connectors
- Enclosures and small assemblies
- Functional prototype parts
- Parts that need to fit with existing components
- Recreating a physical object as a CAD model
- Converting measurements into a printable 3D model
- STL files prepared for 3D printing
SEND ME A PHOTO OF THE PART AND I'LL HELP YOU DETERMINE THE BEST MODELING APPROACH.

FAQ
Can you recreate a replacement part if I don't have the original CAD file?
Yes. Photos, measurements, sketches and physical references can often be enough to begin. The more critical dimensions you can provide, the more accurately the part can be reconstructed.
Can you work from photos?
Yes. Photo-based modeling is possible, although photographs alone cannot establish precise dimensions. I'll let you know which measurements would be useful before modeling.
Can you make a part from measurements?
Yes. Measurements are one of the best references for creating a replacement CAD model, particularly when you can provide dimensions for important mounting and mating areas.
Will the STL be ready for 3D printing?
The STL will be prepared as a 3D model suitable for the intended printing workflow. However, the exact print settings, material and machine setup should be determined based on your printer and application.
Can you provide a STEP file instead of STL?
Yes. STEP can be included where the package or custom offer specifies it. STEP is particularly useful when you want to continue editing the CAD model.
Can you recreate a discontinued part?
Can you recreate a discontinued part?
What if I don't know all the measurements?
That's okay. Send whatever information you have. I'll identify the dimensions that are most important and tell you what needs to be measured before proceeding.
Can you make a replacement part that needs to fit another component?
Yes. In fact, knowing how the replacement part interfaces with surrounding components is very useful. Provide measurements of the mating areas whenever possible.
Can you model multiple connected parts?
Yes. More complex projects and assemblies can be handled through the Standard/Premium packages or a custom offer depending on the number and complexity of components.
Should I order immediately?
For simple, clearly defined parts, one of the packages may be suitable. For reverse engineering, complex mechanical components or parts requiring tight dimensional relationships, message me first so I can review the project and recommend the correct package.
