About this gig
We offer a full service package to the discerning client who seeks attention to detail in designing their contemporary home. The workflow is as follows NB. Please note that this is a standard template and any client should get in touch with us to clarify prior to placing any order:
- Concept Design - We consult with the client and gather all necessary information prior to starting any design. We design a project in keeping within all relevant parameters. Clients needs, regulations, etc. We issue conceptual layouts showing all the spaces required as well as 2D elevations. Client has a limit of 3 revisions.
- Should the client opt for this, we offer 3D renders, in either still or video walkthrough format.
- On Completion of concepts the construction drawings are done. These are the first step in detailing. These will be enough to tender and build the project (excl. other professional scope ie. Engineers). This will leave a little room for finalising/selecting details on site.
- The fully detailed drawings detail every element that may be required by the client including fixtures, custom designed elements and interior architecture (to be clarified in detail).

Are concept plans all I need to start building my house
No. Concept plans are only the first stage in getting the design process going. A concept plan only show the positioning of rooms and the intended design language of the house but is not a technical document
Can you assist with getting planning permission or plans approval for my Local Municipality
Yes. We have a network of professionals registered with the relevant statutory bodies and councils in various countries and are able to have them assist us in getting these approvals. This is an additional cost service where necessary.
Are 3D renders and 3D walkthroughs the same thing?
No. 3D renders generally refer to still renders or images. These are a realistic image of what the building is expected to look like. Walkthroughs are generally the same thing except in a video format.
Do you offer both Still 3D Renders as well as 3D Walkthroughs?
Yes, we do. Prices vary for the two options, so let's discuss the brief then we can advise.
How are your packages priced?
I've charged each package based on the scope of actual work required. The bigger the project, the higher the costs will be. IE. If your desired house is 1200sq. ft. and our rate is $25/10 sq. ft. for concept only: = (1,200/10) x $25 = $ 3,000
How do revisions work?
We offer 3 free revisions in the conceptual stage of the project. This stage should allow us to have a clear idea of the aesthetic of the house and the elements that are included. We then only offer 1 free revision in the detail stage. Anything that is out of scope will be charged for
