Are you filing the LLC on my behalf and how much are state fees to form an LLC?
I prepare the documents for you to mail. I do not file on your behalf, nor do I pay any state fees. State fees vary, depending on the state you register your LLC. I will provide more information on how to file and pay state fees when I prepare your documents.
Can a foreign person or corporation own or be a member of a United States LLC?
Yes. In general, there are no restrictions on foreign ownership of an LLC formed in the United States. It is not necessary to be a U.S. citizen or company, apply for an ITIN, or to have a green card, to own membership in a U.S. LLC.
Do you prepare my Operating Agreement?
I can prepare manager-managed operating agreements for select states only. Please reach out first. Please note the following states that require an operating agreement: California, Delaware, Maine, Missouri, New York (see separate gig for NY).
I am a Marketplace Seller and need a Sales Tax Permit. Can you prepare?
For select states, I will prepare a Sales Tax Permit application and Resale Certificate for marketplace sellers, and inform you of any reporting requirements. Many LLC marketplace sellers need a sales tax permit, even if a marketplace provider pays sales tax on their behalf. Reach out to me first!
Can you provide more information regarding the consulting you provide in the Premium Package?
In addition to answering your specific questions, I will provide some general guidance with regards to retirement accounts and certain beneficial tax deductions (per diem, mileage, home office, etc.), as applicable based on questions you'll need to answer. Expense report templates can be provided.
What do you need from me to complete the order and how will you deliver my documents?
Order requirements are provided upon purchase and should be filled out completely. Delivery will be made based on information provided. I will provide PDF formats for all documents except for expense templates (premium package), which will be delivered via Microsoft Excel.
Can I share any of the custom documents or templates provided?
No. Any and all custom documents or templates are provided specifically for this gig and for its purpose(s) herein. You will be purchasing one (1) license and may NOT copy, share, disseminate, resell, or publish in any way. By purchasing this gig, you agree and are hereby bound to these terms.
