Do I need to provide my own dataset?
It depends on your package. For the Basic package, I use a pre-trained YOLOv8 model that can already detect 80 common objects like people, cars, animals, and everyday items — no dataset needed. For Standard and Premium packages where I train a custom model on your specific objects, you will need to
: How many object classes can you detect?
The Basic package supports up to 80 pre-trained classes using the standard COCO dataset. The Standard package supports up to 5 custom classes and the Premium package supports up to 10 custom classes. If you need more than 10 classes, message me before ordering and we can discuss a custom arrangemen
Can this work on live video or security camera footage?
Yes. All packages support detection on images and video files. Real-time webcam and CCTV live feed support is included in the Standard and Premium packages. If you have a specific camera setup or RTSP stream, mention it when you message me so I can confirm compatibility before you order.
: Will the model work on my computer or server?
: Yes. I deliver the model as a standard .pt (PyTorch) file along with a Python inference script. It runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux. A GPU is recommended for real-time video but a CPU works fine for image detection. I will include clear setup instructions so you can run it without any confusion.
