Can you scrape websites other than CarGurus?
Yes.CarGurus is my specialty, but the same approach works on most public listing sites - other car marketplaces, real estate, e-commerce and more. Send me your target site before ordering and I will confirm feasibility
How do you handle CAPTCHAs and anti-bot protection?
I use browser automation with Selenium and DrissionPage plus realistic request pacing and header management to keep sessions stable. No method bypasses protection permanently, which is why Premium delivers re-runnable automation, not a fragile one-off script.
What file formats do you deliver?
CSV and Excel by default. I can also deliver JSON, or format the output to drop straight into a Google Sheet, database or simple API. Tell me what it needs to connect to and I will match it.
How long will my project take?
3 days for Basic, 5 for Standard, 7 for Premium. Larger or more complex scopes may need longer, and I confirm an exact timeline with you before we start rather than after.
Will I own the code and the data?
Yes. Once delivered, the extracted data and any script I build are yours to keep, use, modify and reuse. No licensing restrictions and no ongoing fees.
Can the scraper run automatically on a schedule?
Yes, this is included in Premium. I can set it to run daily, weekly or on whatever cadence suits you, so your dataset refreshes on its own instead of you reordering every time.
What if CarGurus changes their website after delivery?
Site changes eventually affect every scraper. Premium includes a 14-day support window, so message me if anything breaks in that period. After that I am available for paid maintenance whenever you need it.
Can I see a sample before placing a full order?
Yes. For larger or unusual requests I am happy to run a small sample so you can confirm the fields and format look right before committing to the full order. Just message me.
